5.1 Revocation of an order

The customer has the right to revoke a concluded contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The revocation period is fourteen days from the day on which the customer or a third party designated by him - who is not the carrier - has taken or has taken possession of the goods or the last goods, part shipment or piece in the case of a contract for several goods of a uniform order or the delivery of goods in several part shipments or pieces. In order to exercise his right of withdrawal, the customer must send a notification to

EMU Metering GmbH
Friemarer Str. 38
D-99867 Gotha
hello(at)emu-metering.de
by means of a clear declaration (e.g. letter sent by mail or e-mail) of the decision to revoke this contract. If the customer makes use of this option, EMU Metering will immediately send him (e.g. by e-mail) a confirmation of receipt of such revocation. In order to comply with the revocation period, it is sufficient that the Customer sends the notification of the exercise of the right of revocation before the expiry of the revocation period.

5.2 Consequences of the revocation If the Customer cancels a contract, EMU Metering shall return to the Customer all payments received from the Customer for this business transaction - excluding delivery costs - without undue delay and at the latest within fourteen days from the day on which EMU Metering received the notification of the Customer's cancellation of this contract. For this repayment, EMU Metering shall use the same means of payment that the Customer used for the original transaction unless expressly agreed otherwise; In no case shall any fees be charged due to this repayment. EMU Metering may refuse repayment until it has received the goods back or the Customer has provided proof that the goods have been returned - whichever is the earlier. The Customer shall return or hand over the goods to EMU Metering without undue delay and in any case not later than within fourteen days from the day on which the Customer was informed about the revocation of this contract. The deadline is met if the Customer sends the goods before the expiry of the fourteen-day period. The costs of returning the goods shall be borne by the sender. The customer shall only be liable for any loss in value of the goods if this loss in value is due to handling of the goods that is not necessary for checking the condition, properties and functioning of the goods.

5.3 Voluntary right of return In addition to the statutory right of withdrawal, EMU Metering grants a voluntary right of return of a total of 30 days from receipt of the goods. This voluntary right of return does not limit in any way the Customer's statutory rights and thus in particular his right of withdrawal as described above. The return policy of EMU Metering shall apply to the return of goods based on this voluntary right of return.
