Which interfaces do three phase electricity meters have?

The modern MID calibrated devices allow for the effortless measurement, readout, and transfer of data to the network operator. This works particularly quickly with the appropriate meter readout interface. EMU Allrounder power meter

The EMU Allrounder devices display the active energy in kilowatt hours (kWh), the active power, the current, and voltage. These three phase meters have an M-Bus interface and are suitable for energy management according to ISO 50001 as well as sub-metered tenant electricity. Using a configurable S0 pulse interface, the effective energy source can be transmitted to building management systems or data loggers.

EMU Professional electricity meter

Are you interested in an energy measuring device from the EMU Professional series? You will receive not only an energy meter, but also a performance counter. As in the EMU Allrounder, the direct connection is supplied with up to 100 Ampere. A three phase meter in the EMU Professional series shows you both the active electrical energy, reactive energy and apparent power, as well as the power factor cos phi (cos ϕ).

The three phase MID calibrated energy meters of the EMU Professional series have a variety of interfaces, making them interesting both for private households and companies: M-Bus, TCP/IP and KNX are only a few to name.

EMU Professional II energy and power meter

As a third series of three phase meters, EMU Professional II enters the stage. These MID calibrated energy meters can be used to delineate third party amounts or sub-metered tenant power for self-generated power. The readout interfaces are M-Bus, Modbus RTU, LoRa and TCP/IP with Modbus TCP. Similarly to EMU Allrounder, the EMU Professional II also has a S0 pulse interface.

The graphic LCD display in EMU Metering’s three phase meters facilitates easy and comprehensible readouts. The parameters and settings, as well as any relevant log entries in terms of calibration law, are indicated using clearly visible numbers. Is it bright or dark in the environment of the measuring device? It doesn’t matter: thanks to the LED back light, the values can also be read out in complete darkness.
